Residues from pesticides and medicines resulting from human activity are present everywhere in water, groundwater and rivers.
Certain chemical substances, such as pesticides, are harmful in small doses and difficult to locate in water. They can affect the hormonal system of living creatures (including humans) and their health (cancer, deformities, sterility, etc.).
Water runs from the tap. But where does it come from? From the earth. It is collected from groundwater and from rivers. It returns to the earth, to underground water and rivers after consumption. Drinking water must be protected in situ, in the environment.
